Hi there!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m Tracey, a sinner saved by grace. It’s a true honor to share a bit of my story with you. As an adopted daughter of the King of kings, our Heavenly Father, I embrace my identity as a princess while living a simple, fulfilling life. Family means the world to me, and whether at home or on adventures, I cherish every moment spent with my husband, three wonderful children (and daughter-in-love), ten beautiful grandchildren, and three really cool great-grandchildren. Each of them brings a unique joy to my life that I treasure deeply.

In this space, I hope to inspire others in their own journeys and to celebrate the blessings and miracles that surround each of us daily. Follow our blog for stories and articles that emphasize faith, family, and the little joys that make life amazing!

My Story

I served as a nurse for over 20 years, then went back to school after my youngest child graduated high school. I have both a Bachelor’s degree (UAM) and a Master’s degree (UALR)  in social work. I’m a licensed certified social worker (LCSW), that’s what qualifies me to work as a therapist in Arkansas. I also have a Master’s certificate (UALR) in gerontology. I have worked as a therapist since 2014, and served as Clinical Director, and Director of Residential and Clinical Services for a local non-profit, faith-based agency.

My approach to therapy is Christ-centered, strengths-based, and eclectic. This means your treatment is individualized for you, drawing from different evidence-based theoretical models, but always using scripture as the base and final authority. I’m a trauma-informed therapist, which means that if you’re dealing with trauma, I can help you work through it. I have experience working with people who have struggled with depression, anxiety, PTSD, life transitions, life imbalance, perfectionism, parenting, work/career issues, compassion fatigue, and more. I like to incorporate prayer and scripture into therapy, as these are such amazing sources of strength. This being said, I never push my beliefs on anyone. This is considered proselytizing, and my belief is that Christ never forced people to follow Him, He only provided the opportunity, so why should I walk any differently? I do, however, incorporate your beliefs into our sessions to the extent you choose.

Reaching out for help can be difficult for anyone. Please know you're not on this journey alone. I will travel alongside you, with Christ as our model and the Holy Spirit as our Guide, while you search, internally and externally, to find solutions to your challenges. My role in this partnership is being a collaborator with you. This is your journey -thank you for choosing to take me along!
